I'm confused on when you get daily games. I thought you only got one if you had 0 plays, but for a while i had 16, and got an extra one every day for 17. I got recently, and i got 25 now, but no more daily ones.

If you have no games, then every day you will get 1 new game. However, you cannot accumulate the games which means that if you do not use the game that you just earned, it will disappear. Fortunately, you get another one at tomorrow. Better use it! If you are on paid games, which I assume you are, you shouldn't even need this feature.
I am still confused if you get one even if you still have games going. The info about that might be inaccurate, but please forgive me. Remember that this post is coming from someone who is not on paid games.

I had bought games, and i had 16 left, and for a while, i would get a daily one(17) and use it(16.) When i got the (26) and played a game i got to 25, but after that, i got no extra games. So maybe i just have to use the games

It's really like you said: Intern they are computing 2 different game types, the daily and the bought games, but only shown as one. If the daily games drop to 0 you get a new daily game at midnight. Daily games will always used up before bought games. The , and games are added as daily games, so you have to play this games first to get a new daily game at midnight.
