I think necroposting, (but not flood or spam,) should have a warning before the first ban, especially if the offender is new here.

Thank you for posting the rules.(finally) How was I supposed to know I shouldn't necropost if no one told me! I like the new rules, but I think that "Threads without Pertintent titles" is a little harsh. Useless topic creation is okay, but I think you should adjust these just in case.:)

I hope this helps, wrzosu, and anyone who suggests adjustments to the rules should be welcome. We are only trying to make your rules better.:)

I agree with JohnAtMC about necroposting's warning.74

Well it depends. It's one thing to answer an old thread you've found and you'd like to post in. And it's totaly different to go to the last page on the forum and write in all of them.

"Threads without Pertintent titles". Threads should have a title that makes it easy to understand what's there. Even if it's something like "What do you like to get for breakfast in Sunday?". Since we don't have all the forum sections available, we'll remove the "Useless topic creation" (but not right away).

When I posted my warning suggestion, I was just thinking about if they necropost in just 1 thread, not all threads on the last page. ;)

I really think any first offence ought to have a warning.
I'm not saying that everyone should go around having one chance to break each rule, but that everyone should be given one chance to receive the benefit of the doubt. After one warning for any offence, all subsequent offences of any rule are met with punishment.
Really, it's very possible someone could come on here and do something wrong and say they "just didn't know." Not everyone is going to see this thread, even though they should. I firmly believe everyone deserves one chance to be slapped on the wrist and redirected here, and then punished if they're stupid enough to do any of these things again.
