Hi there!

Have you experienced any server lag lately? If you have, then what was the time or moment you thought the server was working slowly.

I use dual core intel (2 years old computer), which easily plays e.g. Half Life 2 mods with full graphics. My broadband connection is 10/2Mb. STILL caverns of hammerfest lags sometimes and it's not propably because of my computer or browser, because it happens at any browser (I have 1,2 gigabytes free RAM, so it's not that either).

The lag is such a nuisance, because this game needs super accurate and precise game style (at least if you are playing at nightmare or Hell Parallel Dimension levels). My FPS is high, but game lags from time to time.

Hmm I thought it was just me... I can't complain about BIG LAG but sometimes it seems it lags a bit From about 3-4 days ... it is not always just from time to time a little lag barely visible but I can sense it I'm not joking though it looks stupid

If the server lags you may not be able to start a game or join the forum. However you don't play the game realtime online. The game is downloaded on your PC and is played there. You can disconnect from internet and still play it. Whatever the reason is - it's not the server. Bad Windows 7 settings may cause that. Out of the Windowses - Hammerfest works best on XP.

Thanks for your explanation zax! SERVERS WORK GREAT! It seems it's either a matter of my computer or browser. I doubt it's my computer, because I had decided to install XP on my computer, because I like to play older games, which aren't unfortunately supported by win 7. Thanks you anyway very much, that helped me to solve out, what might be the main problem...

You can try different browsers as well. I've noticed that for whatever reasons (probably drivers) on PCs with fresh installed OS sometimes the game works perfectly on Mozilla, other times it is the most laggy on Mozilla and I play on Chrome. I haven't tested Opera and Safari much, but IE is crappy most of the times .
