So there's hardly anyone left here on these forums at all D: this place used to be so lively. That was what, three years ago? They were lovely times. The Engish server is now nearly a wasteland, it makes me sad... but I know that there are some survivors of this bygone era. Once in a while you peep your heads out from your caves filled with the riches of your conquest to let us know that you are still alive, you haven't forgotten. We might also consider those festians of the even further past, a time before parallel dimensions... but that is a conversation for another day.

Speaking as a festian of the past who still plays on occasion, I can understand why so few remain. Once the challenges of the game are overcome, there's not much left to do here. That, or some challenges are just too daunting to go on trying.

That was me. I fizzled out of playing because Hell looked so hopeless, I gave up and disappeared.
But as you can see, I'm back now... somewhat. I don't play every day, and I don't have a particular objective. I go into hell every now and again, but mostly I'm just hoping to collect more Coeff 5 and 6 items.


That's the reason I'm still here. I want to know why YOU are here! Certainly there are some new players in the past 3 years, people from the French or Spanish server, relics of the bygone era, etc. If you're around, let me know why! What do you hope to accomplish? Where are you in your goals? How often do you play? Or anything else you want to tell me about you and Hammerfest! For no other reason than because I am curious.

I'm back for more playings! I got in the mood to play some platformy fun, and so I am here. I had about 30 games left, so I've played a couple every so often and am almost back in the swing of things. I can't consistently do as well in hell, but I'm almost perfect at PD0 and PD51, so I should be getting loads of lives for hell. I'm just still a little rusty.

Did go through to just beat the game, though, and got it after three games. It's starting to come back to me.

I am still here because I love this game. I have loved it since I started playing, almost 7 years ago now (if I remember this correctly). I have been in the HOF for 5 years now, and I believe it took me 2 years to get there. At any rate, I have been with this site since the beginning. There was a time when I even had the final post in the oldest topic in the forum, but that was bumped by an idiot. Now I'm on page 84, in the topic "information about items".

And of course I remember the game before the parallel dimensions! What a struggle we had to get that update... it has poisoned my image of MotionTwin forever.

Right now, I am playing to beat the game in Nightmare mode 10 times. I have four more of these to play, then I will do PD2 ten times, then finish off my final few plays of 2P (level 49) and then head to hell. This game still presents a challenge to me.

Before I made the decision to actually try to unblock these items, I played to try to collect the C5s and find my first C6. My dream of finding even a single one of those rarest items remains incomplete.

I play about once a week now, but have gone months without playing in the past as I tired of it. It's all cyclic. When I go on hiatus, I know that I'll be back.

Yes, that's me. I actually just rejoined The Soupalineans a few days ago. Getting back into the motion twin swing.

Just now I tried to search for you on KadoKado, but nothing at all came up for "Hrainian" D: Do you still play KK?

I came back after a longish absence a few months ago, and started getting back into MotionTwin games, including this one. I played I think over 600 of my games within the space of a few weeks.
And then I stopped again, because it just brought me frustration. I cannot defeat Hell on nightmare mode and get that red bomb, no matter how hard I try. I persevered for a long long time but I finally got to the point where I just had to quit.

Now I still check these forums every couple of days or so just out of habit, I suppose, but I haven't played a game in a good while and never seem to feel inclined to.

I still play on Carapass and KadoKado most every day, but I'm not involved with any clan or anything, I just use up my plays as part of my daily routine before moving on to other things.

I still come back and check the forums every day to see if Joe has unblocked another Co6.

I'm not an old-timer, nor do I play the game much anymore.
I am still here because I have a story to write; and I swore to myself that when I began, I would finish, so as not to leave anyone (who might possibly perhaps be ever so slightly interested in my amateur fantasy) on an eternal cliffhanger. I have to say, I'd have dropped it long ago if I hadn't had motivation to keep going.
But by the shamrock of Saint Patrick, I will finish it even if it's the only story I ever play out to the end!

I just had a game where I had five in the first 12 levels. I didn't even realize it was St Patrick's day until I read your post!

im still here becouse i have not completed the game yet (hell and stuff) and i do like the game still

I am still there, though only rarely. There is a lot to do for me in Hell, but currently I am too rusty to go there. I don't know if I will every have time to try again. But I still enjoy playing once in a while - and would do so even more if the game wasn't so incredibly long!

Anyway... nice to see that I am not the only one playing occasionally like this. Keep on having fun, everybody!

still here, but as some of you might know, "i" already said that.. play only about 1-3 times a month, and waaaaay too rusty for hell, even though i should be able to get the n64-pad with some practice.. well, good old times i guess
