Today I was playing a 2p game and experienced a little bug.
As I entered pd51 the yellow in 51.0 spawned immediately. My friend was falling down in lvl 51 while I entered the door so maybe that has something to do with that, but it's just something I found interesting.

Yes, the 2nd player hit the trigger.

Since you're reading this you already seem to have noticed, but the Hammerfest servers are back again! During the last week MotionTwin moved their servers which had caused hfest to be unaccessable for a few days.
It looks like we got more than indemnified for that by getting 50 free games!
Now get back into hammerfesting and good luck!

50 free games sounds nice, but I feel there are very few people who would actually care anymore.
Is there any info on the traffic this game actually still gets?
The forums have obviously been pretty inactive for a good while and looking at numbers on the the pyramid tiers, it's a sad sight.

I can't imagine that it makes MT much money, if any at all?

I've said before that I absolutely love this game and consider it one of the best browser games ever made, but it's just unfortunately been left to rot.

Yes, I also thought they might just leave Hammerfest on the side. In the end, I don't think anybody buys games anymore these days.
Now it's mainly a place for the older players who return to this game now and then because they loved it so much that they just can't quit forever.

Yeah. I was afraid it had been lost. Does anyone know if there's plan for this? With project eternalfest? Could we get them to just recreate the game with their engine and distribute a few copies?

I'm starting to believe that the 50 free games are just a bug ... After playing yesterday I had 47 or 48 left, and now I'm at 50 again?

I suspect it isn't a bug and is the intended action.

I purposefully knocked my games down to 44 yesterday and they are indeed now back to 50.
