Hello everyone!

Basically, since there is no moderator actively playing anymore, I thought about whether or not it would make sense to have a new moderator in Hammerfest.

First off, I don't even know if this is realistic, because the game kinda got left in the dust by MotionTwin, and they already said that they will not pay too much attention to Hammerfest anymore.

But still, I would like everyone to spend 2 minutes of your time and to tell me if you think it would be useful to have a new moderator (to update threads, someone who plays actively and regularely, who is willing to help other people, and who has got some experience in this game), and maybe you can already nominate someone (or yourself ), if you think that this person fits the job.

So, please tell me what you think

With roughly 2.71 active users there is not much to do as a moderator. But it would not be too bad to have an active mod. Just in case Though MT will probably remain silent. As you said, Hammerfest has been abandonded long ago.

Nominations? fabianh You are clearly the most active user.

I don't mind having a new mod, but we need somebody with the authority to make you one. And I don't know who can do that, so... it's a dead end.

After unsuccessfully trying to contact MotionTwin two times, I've gone to the French forum, and asked, whether a new mod could be nominated, since most of the time none of our mods are playing
I know, Zax is back now, but one day he will be gone again, and it is always better to have a backup, so Zax doesn't have to do everything on his own
The answer was:
Yes, we can ask administrators to name an other player as moderator. To solve this problem, we need you to send us the name of the future moderator and the link to his 'player profile'.
However, this player should not be anyone. For example, an english moderator can ask us.
So do you agree?
Any ideas who that could be?
I wouldn't mind doing it myself, but if anyone else wants, that's fine, too

But assuming we can't get him Moderated, it'd be okay if Zax checked in... say, once every four months? six?
Even once a year, if we could count on him to appear.
