Shit. It's been longer since that update than I thought.
I have a chapter or two ready, and I'll upload them as soon as I can. #%*&@ people; like I don't have enough work sucking up my life. No, I have all the time in the world to pander to selfish, smiley idiots when I'm off the clock. FML.

Writing this is going to be a regular thing... someday. Roughly about the same time I get a hermit place, excepting the trips to and from workplace/sustenance errands. Maybe a hobbit hole. It's been feeling a lot like this: http://tapastic.com /episode/54977

I WILL NOT GIVE UP ON THIS, even if it means I have to slap together a "and so they defeated alla the bad guys and lived happily ever after," ending.

Currently working on Chapter 47. Reasons for ongoing delay: Road trip, history test, heavy reading, and early Thanksgiving celebration prep because small family reunion.

Writing isn't quite as easy as it used to be; I'm having to plot a course for the characters now, which is taking much longer than when I let them run around doing whatever they pleased. I'll work through this slow patch eventually, and when I do, you'll get many more updates due to faster writing.

It... it can't have been a month since the last update. Not a whole month...

The last one was... not supposed to happen for a while. But the characters, they have minds of their own.

"Only five sorry little chapters?!" you cry? Well... yes. BUT, I'm moving the story along in leaps and bounds now! Why is that? Because I desperately want to wrap this up before summer. I just do not have time-- besides which, I have greatly matured in my writing skills, and I no longer want to spend my time working on a story that, while entertaining, has the sorriest plot, most messed up timeline and craziest pacing I have ever seen due to not planning a word of it until about six months ago. Beginning, middle, and end are all mixed up, sprinkled with stuff that really belongs in a blog and taped together with dialogue.

The end is in sight, folks. I promise!
