Hey guys. A lot is going on in my life and I cannot find time to do a lot of stuff that I want to. One of them: spending time on Hammerfest. However I have decided to renew the website for another year just in case there is still somebody that is using it.

Hammerfest has to be renewed?
I guess I just figured it'd be one of those things that'd be around forever.

I don't use it personally and to be honest I would have advised spending more money on what clearly seems to be pretty much a dead playerbase, but I guess it's too late for that now.

Your site is a relic of good times long ago, zax, and it was refreshing to see it still around a few days ago. It's a shame that zoy is right: only so many players, if at all, are going to check your website nowadays.

But I'd be so sad to see zaxarinka go! Cadomax seems kind of abandoned as well, so there is probably an imminent doom for all Hammerfest websites out there. Were I an eccentric millionaire, I would donate for you to keep the website up simply because of its sentimental value. Yes, even the outdated D2N info.

That is why I decided to try saving your website on the [lien=https://web.archive.org/web/]Internet Archive[/lien], it's [lien=https://web.archive.org/web/20151018015815/http://zaxarinka.com/]here[/lien]. Unfortunately, it seems like some things simply cannot be saved by the service, in special the level images or the enemies' animations (those cool hover-to-see gifs). Something to do with your robots.txt, which I too a look at and isn't exactly permissive.

I would recommend checking out this website, there are probably services for website hosts who want to retire their digital content in some safe place for posterity.

It is pretty unfortunate that the pictures cannot be viewed, but at least things like items and quests can still be seen, so that's something
Well, for the moment the page is still up, so I might save all of the pictures on my pc for the future, which will allow me to have a look at them regardless of how things go with the websites.

If you want to post links here, try replacing the "https" with "http". The forum does not recognize links starting with an "https", so the link tool does not work with them.

Today, I visited Zaxarinka to check some item coefficient as I regularly do, and the website was over
Zax said he renewed it for one year last October, but when you try to go there it now says "this account has been suspended" (it was not the case a few days ago)
Is it only temporary, or is this wonderful Hammerfest guide lost forever ?

I have my own hosting... I know I'm late to the party here, but I'd love to host it myself to keep the resource online.

I'll see if I can get a website downloader and make it happen.
