What is the mario dimention and how do you get to it?

The mario dimension can be found in level 16(the one where you bomb the first cherry and take out the rest at the bottom) On the bottom level, there is a ledge sticking out there.

Bomb the ledge and go into the portal. In it, there is a fireball and around 40 coins there. It really helps for the secret coins quest.
