This thread is mainly for people who are fairly new to the game and / or the forum.
If you've used the forum to read some threads and gather useful information, or if you like to write here yourself, somewhere you've probably stumbled upon people posting some sort of links.
Links are great! They are the best way to easily show someone your profile, another forum thread or some external game-related website.
But simply copying the URL into your message for other people to have to copy it again into their browser results into your message (and with that, the whole thread) being quite messy and ugly.
Also, if you post multiple links, it can become tedious to open all of them via
Select
Copy Paste.That's why the "Link" tool exists. And it is really easy to use.
1.) Copy the link you wish to share.
2.) Click the "Link" tool.
3.) Enter the link in the box that opened. Make sure the link starts as follows: "http://www...".
Using https or just leaving the http out will not be recognized as a link.
4.) In the next box that opens write the text you want to display for your link.
It then looks like this:

The reason why I'm creating this thread is because again and again I've seen people not using or using the tool wrongly and it just doesn't look very nice.
