I've encountered a few evil levels on my way down the caverns. I would like to know if there are any specific strategies for these levels, besides the "practice, practice, practice" one.

1. Lv. 43 4 lemons, evil, but not quite as evil as the other 2. I've kicked bombs into the teleporter at the bottom to take out a few of them. Any other ideas?

2. Lv. 49 3 lemons, 3 bombinos, evil level design. I always die at least once here.

3. Lv 52-55 (not sure), 3 lemons, a blue bomb changer, the one where you have to hit them many times. Evilest ever. I usually die once or twice here.

You can skip 49 by entering dimension 46. It's good points, as well.

53 can be beaten quite easily if you can kick bombs up. I remember from when I couldn't, I used to hate that level. Your best bet is to practice your timing so you can hit a lemon on the platform above you with a blue bomb.

43 only has two lemons. You must mean 44 (it has five). I find the best strategy is to fall from the top, and go around the left side underneath the top left lemon, and kick bombs up. Use that lemon as a bludgeon to take out a few others, then approach from the other side, collecting the point item.

How do you kick bombs up? A quest? An item?

First you must beat "The book of Magic Stars"

Items: 1 Book of Constellations

"This mysterious in-depth book talks about the 12 Zodiac Constellations. They are now available in the game!"

Then you need to complete "Constellations"

Items: 1 of each constellation.

"From now on and forever, Igor can place 2 bombs!"

Finally, you must beat "Zodiac Mixture"

Items: 1 of each potion.

"Igor knows how to place his bombs vertically now and he can place them on the upper platform! Press DOWN arrow key beside a placed bomb."

These can take a long time, but kicking bombs up is one of the most valuable abilities.

I think I need some help also. Does anyone have any tips for level 96? I've only beaten it once, and it is very irritating.

Noo possible tips for level 96... just stand and wait. You can go down to a (fruit...) and wait for it to jump, then again stand one platform above it and so on... Slow, but it works. Most of the time I lose a life there because I need more time

I lol'd. You suggest to skip one hard level by going through 8 even harder levels? No offense, but that's quite stupid.

The best strategy IS practice.

When I first started out, I could barely get down past 30's....then I got down to 50's...70's....90's....it took me almost 8 months before I finally beat the game....it's taken me almost a year to get the levels down, figure them out, figure out good ways to beat them, memorize them, etc etc.

Now, I'm able to get down to the 60's or 70's without losing one single life.

So...practice. Try and figure it out for yourself as well as getting others strategies.

I started within the first month this site opened, and I just got to tuber yesterday. Skipped 96 with a

Go there, click hammerfest, and it will have maps for 1-99, so you can look at them individually without playing them, and see how others have beat them (I'm pretty all the regular levels have vids of how to beat them, and in order)

Then you can plan your strategies accordingly. It's what I did.

Okay... I believe the levels you refer to are 44 / 49 / 53.
