Those big blue portals that appear on levels. These are called parallel dimensions, right?

Well I have a few questions. These levels seem like they are very difficult, they usually have stronger enemies too. I usually die quickly when I go to the parallel worlds. Are there any protective items I should have before I go there? Will there be far more points in the parallel dimensions? Should you always choose the secret path instead of the straightforward path?

You seem to be a beginner at this game; so the first important thing is to find a way through the game and to gather experience. After some time you will find that you want to go through the parallel dimensions.
Yes, some of them bring more points, some of them contain certain items that you find only there (like ). But they are also more difficult than the straightforward way. Some of them are really (REALLY!) difficult; others not that much.

One quite easy one you can always use is the one at level 3 (the door that opens when you beat the one cherry). It's not really difficult, can get you up to 100,000 extra points (with good items even more) and you will learn quickly how to beat it.

I really suggest you start getting to level 70 (at least) each time you play and then go to the parallel dimensions. But if you don't want to listen:
the parallel dimensions I suggest are:
lvl 6 - safe - free 11k pts
lvl 3 - easy - about 100k pts from cristals + enemies and items
lvl 16 - easy - 1 fireball following you + up to 110k in golden coins.
You can also try the parallels 11 and 13, but don't go in any others if you wanna live longer .
Parallel 72 is easy too, but far ahead.

to me level 70 doesn't matter th eonly thing that matters is the deck of cards went i got the fozen quest (lv 15) beaten i used like 7 cards and i couldn't reach 70 (69 was my record not kidding). and dont forget this quest beaten.
