There's no bigger jump nor any other direct effect on Igor. You have finished the quest, so you should know that. And your theory for the parallel dimension is too weird and too hard to prove... i could also say "I think the missing item is at the parallel door that opens in level 99 at the bottom right corner when you kill the enemies in reversed order".
