Personally, what I do on level 95 is I go through the teleporter immediately, and work on killing the lemons as fast as possible, jumping up alongside a vertical wall as Coldfrog suggested to speed it up. Whenever a bombino is nearby, I throw a blue bomb towards it and if possible, kill it. The reason for this is, the lemons won't move themselves into an easier position to kill, but the bombinos will eventually. This strategy uses time in the most efficient way - killing the lemons as soon as possible and taking advantage of when it is convenient to kill a bombino.

It may be easier to wait at the top for the bombinos to come to you and kill them there though. Or perhaps only wait for bombinos if they are near the top. Either way, don't take too long up there - waiting a long time for 1 enemy is is using the time before the fireball comes in a very inefficient way.

One thing for sure - if you are at the top of the level and a bombino is there with you, kill it before using the teleporter again (at either side of the top if you have blue bombs).

Under no circumstances should you use a white bomb on a bombino anywhere other than the top of the level, the explosion is very likely to kill you. I personally almost never change back to white bombs after the intial change to blue bombs.

This next hint applies on any level. Survival is the priority, even if it requires going into a place that in inconvenient to get back from.

Finally, if you are almost done/done with the level, but the fireball is there, it can be very hard to escape alive. I found that doing so requires attracting the fireball to the top right of the level if it has been on the screen for a while, and even then it was very close.

I'm not sure that video is really a good one to link to. The goal of that person was different - to get the big crystal, not merely to get through, which changes the strategy. If I had thought it would be helpful, I know of a different video which also shows that which isn't so sped up and doesn't have so many other things in it.

Unfortunately, I can't think of a video of someone getting through lvl 95 with the goal of just getting through it. The closest I can think of is electriczax's video, but he didn't have the book of stars in that video.

But I think the strategy used in the video is similar to the "normal" one. Of course anyone would kill the cherry the first time they come down there; but many other aspects are useful.

I suppose thats true. In that case I shall provide a link to the video I mentioned. It may be a bit less skillfully done in this video, but it's easier to see whats going on. It also shows getting the big crystal twice.

It also shows another trick which I didn't mention before - jumping from the right to the left side of the level. However, as far as I can tell, doing this trick requires a bit of luck. I managed it once, but I'm not sure what I did differently, if anything.

Actually, I would like to ask my own question now. I generally can't keep track of which enemy is which if more than 3 of the same type are involved, but quite a few people seem to be able to keep track of more than that. Is this just a case of practice, or is there some kind of trick to make it easier? Its not always possible to figure out the order by letting them meet with each other, due to the amount of time it takes.

If you know the order at the beginning, you can try to keep track of the first 2 or 3 enemies... If they are unable to meet - it's even better because it makes the whole thing a bit easier.

But when there are 4 enemies on the same level, I don't even try to get the order

Another question (I hope the question I tried to answer will get a better answer though): It was just mentioned that it is possible to jump from the right to the left side of level 95. A similar place is at level 44: The ledge where there are two lemons at the beginning. Sometimes I can jump on it from the small rectangle on the left side, sometimes I can't. It also happened already both in the same game. Does anyone know why this happens? Is it just luck?

And - similar - sometimes Igor can't reach 1x1 squares at the wall or vertical teleporters when he has

I managed that once completely by accident too. I think it is just luck, because it requires such a specific jump. When 2 blocks touch each other only diagonally, it is possible to go inbetween them, but you need to be so specific to do it, that it needs luck to achieve. I think that this is actually slightly different to doing the level 95 trick.

Sorry but I'm not sure what you mean by this. If you mean that you can't land on them, I have never experienced that myself, or seen anyone else have that problem, but then again its not often this would have an opportunity to happen, because generally,

It is nearly the same thing.
And in the bottom right corner of level 44 you have exactly that situation. There is one 1x1 suare left out, and sometimes I can reach the "way" on the left side going through this square.

Interesting... This means that you 1) are lucky or 2) avoid

or 3) don't have the problem, but dAwbjNS and my have it, so it would depend on something outside the game itself

examples: level 23 (the 1x1 holes at both walls), 26 (the teleporter and the block above it) 27 (on the left side), 30, ... I think 23 is the first level, but then there are enough possibilities. So many that I see that the problem can't occur too often^^
