Well, yes, but not me personally.
You can play the game from beginning to end, provided you last that long.
The The Parallel Dimensions (PDs) were added for the people who had beaten the game repeatedly, and wanted more levels. Harder levels.
I think that was a little nuts, but hey, who am I to judge when I have not yet beaten it once?
Anyway, the answer is yes, the game has been beaten by several people.

now I lost a game without even playing. That's just great.

Well, after you manage to get to levels 80 and beyond you won't care much about buying games. At that point your plays will start to last one hour or more, and it is tiring.

I haven't bought a single game this far. i can't say I play very well, but I've got very close to reach rank 2 several times. I suppose buying games will give me more opportunities to practice, but oh well...

I don't buy games, so you're not the only one.
