What are the gameplay mode, how are they unlocked,and what do they do?also do stuff like mario mode and unstable explosives count as game modes ore items?

Can I get something new in mirror game (key or something like this...)

- Mirror Mode: Get the Bancal Mirror on level 97.1 ; in that mode the levels are mirrored (left/right side reversed), but Igor moves as always.
- Nightmare Mode: Get after beating Tuber; everything is a bit faster (Igor, the fruits and the fireball)
- Ninjutsu Mode: Get (level 23.6), then finish the "Shinobi Do!" quest. In this playing mode you have to kill one certain enemy to end a level; when you hit one of two certain other enemies, you lose a life.
- Tornado Mode: Finish the "Best Player" quest (collect all the gamepads). Igor starts the game with a speed boost.
- Unstable Explosives: Get the red bomb far down in Hell. Igor's bombs hit not only the fruits, but also Igor, and all explosions are bigger.
- Two Players: Finish the Sandy quest. You can play together with a friend.
- Two Players Mirror/Nightmare modes: Same as normal Mirror/Nightmare.
- Two Players "Bomb Control" mode: Unknown (as fat as I know)
- Time Attack: Get 150 (you get them in Ninjutsu Mode). It's a different game - you try to beat special levels as fast as possible.

Two Players and Time Attack are the games you can unblock ("To be unblocked" on the left); the other ones are additional game modes after you have chosen to play Normal, Two Players or Time Attack.

Yes, there are those fat bombs in TP, but that's not Bomb control... *totallyawayfromtopic*

question: if an item like appears once and you don't get it, does it ever come back, or did you just lose your one and only chance to get that?

i ask cuz i have a 'practice' account where that happened, and i haven't seen it since. of course, that might be its rarity level, or maybe not...

Items like:

appear until you complete the quest with them. After that - they won't. You can have more then 1, 2, 3... of them if you take it in a single game.

on level 43 i eventually saw an arrow pointing on the upper right corner. what does this mean?

I never saw something like that but it could refer to the parallel dimension on this level. It opens on the upper right corner.
