OK, I wanna make an experiment, because my cousin (gal2000), and my best friend (ball4444), said that they both got the book of magic stars in level 21, by putting bombs inside each rectangle, but they don't remember the order...
ball4444 could not save that game so he didn't actually got the book...
anyway, they NEVER talked about that game, so it's can't either a lie or a luck!
So please try several times, and post here the result

They allow you to kick bombs upward. As for me, I've still not unlocked the book of stars even though I've played level 21 several times.

Colecting all 12 will give you 2 bombs at the start of every game. They also make Red Line Stars appear.

The 12 's only start appearing after you've collected all 12 's.

Still very good. Starting with 2 bomds is like a permanent ... I would kill to get that

I got my Book of Stars from level 13, I think. The first level that you can't go to the next level until you kill the enemies first, as there is no way to fall.
I'm still on the potions though.
