Ok, here's my dilemma: I don't have internet access at my house. I therefore come to a coffeeshop whenever I want to play Hammerfest. When it's time to go home, I start one last game, pause it, and then finish it when I get home. This of course, brings up the "can't save" screen, meaning the next time I have internet access, I need to log out, log in, and start a new game so the last one will get saved.

ANYWAYS, yesterday I decided to try something: instead of opening one last game, I opened up five games, all in different tabs, started them all, and paused them all. I expected when they were all done, I could come back to an internet connection, log out of each one, log back in on the separate tabs, and save each of the five games.

Well, despite the fact that I had the five games deducted from my account, when I logged out and logged back in and started a new game, it would only save the last of the five games I played, and the rest of the other games' data was lost.

What sucks?

Things I found in the other four games (that would've gone towards unblocking things):

- A FREAKING GREEN MUSHROOM, which is the last one I needed for the quest and something I've been looking for for MONTHS (and I also made sure to unblock the little green mushrooms from the bombs)

- AN ACE OF DIAMONDS, (which would've been my 5th),

- a can with a pencil in it from the administrative material family, (would've been my 5th)

- garlic, from the vegetables family, (would've been my seventh)

- the big white thing from the time for tea family (would've been 5th)

- the red wine glass from the funny drinks family (would've been 6th)

- the blue can from the canned food family (would've been 9th)

Unfortunately, for the blue can, big white thing, and red wine glass, I only realized they would've gone towards unblocking things after realizing I couldn't save my games, and therefore didn't take screenshots of them. I DO, however, have screenshots of the other items, and seeing that I didn't credit for them DESPITE being docked the games that earned them, I would ask whoever it is in their power to add these items to my account. I can post the screenshots, and you can see I have five tabs of games open at the top.

Please. If NOTHING else, give me credit for the green mushroom and ace of diamonds, although getting credit for all the above items or at least credit for the screenshotted items would be the decent thing to do.

And again, the resolution is small, but if you look at the top of the window, you'll see I've got the 5 tabs open with games. Unfortunately, I only got credited the items from my final game (which, on a positive note, was responsible for unblocking the parrot head for me.)

Maybe you should ask, before doing something weird on your own. If you have paused the game before you lose your last life (after they kill you - before you fall) and then log in to Internet, unpause the game and end it, it could have worked. I doubt it but you may try it. If you want to play several games it will most likely work if you open one game in IE, one in FF, one in Opera and other games in other browsers. But this may lead to crash and losing everything in this game. Unfortunately I don't think you will be given those items. Since there is no Coef.5 item among those it's not that frustrating. You'll get them again in a coulpe of games.

How are those not coeff.5 items?

Oh, sorry. I meant Coef. 6. I get a Coef. 5 item every 3-4 games.

I had a phase when I got at least one coeff.5 item per game... Not too long, but nice

I think you will get the coeff.4 items sooner or later, that's no problem; don't worry. For the two coeff.5s it's hard, but stuff like that happens :/ Just hope you get them another time...

Does anyone have Ayame's email? I mean, I know Stock's a mod, but I don't think he'd have the power to add items to accounts, and I suppose the least I can do is email Ayame and provide the screenies, since [I believe] she's an admin and would therefore have item-adding privileges.

This would be a waste of time. No admin will add items to your account, period. Maybe, just maybe you could get your lost games in form of back, but they will surely not make any changes in the database to give you items.

It currently isn't as bad as it was...apparently, we ARE all that lucky, and only maybe 10 or so games later, I found another green mushroom. So I guess no long-term harm done, except the lost games. But frankly, I earn more in a week than I use anyway.

Still would've been nice to have the other ace of diamonds though.

But it makes sense. There's too much grey area for abuses in this situation.

Also, I humbly apologize for the thread title. I was frustrated, but that's no excuse and I understand why it was changed.
