I heard that once you manage to get the pyramid pass and also manage to work your way to the hell level before getting the last gamepad, that you have to beat that level without dying once, or else the path to the gamepad gets blocked off. Is this true? Or is it just a rumour?

Yes, this is true. I was on this level and the raspberry EVEN ONCE didn't come to a possition I can kill it. So the fireball came and I died. I had 2 more lives but the path was closed.

Gosh, that sucks. Especially since it takes so much time/skill just to GET to that level, it'd be hard to get any sort of regular practice on it to the point where you're actually good at it.

Partially you are right. But also there is the possibility to get there using some ... so you may not be so skillful, just lucky . And if you have done it once, you will do it again. Don't worry. (I've been trying to do it again for 2 weeks now -_-")

Well I mean, it'll be a while before I get there anyway; I haven't gotten the pyramid pass yet; frankly, I haven't even gotten past the "metal-looking" part of the pyramid pass way yet. Haven't even gotten to the sphinx with Tuber's head.

So with that said, it'll be a loooong while yet. lol

Who knows, might get lucky like you said.
