first, you must enter 'the dojo' which is the pd in level 23. there is a button on level 23, you can't miss it. in the fifth level, there is a ninja star thing. get it, and you unlock the 'shinobi do!' quest. when you do that, you get ninjutsu mode if i understand right.
be warned, the dojo is hard! it'll take close to two weeks before you can complete it, probably. just keep at it and you'll get there.
Exactly how hard is this "Dojo" and what bag guys do you see in it? I might try to beat it, but at my skill level, that might be impossible. and I don't want to make futile effort. If theres strawberrys and pineapples in it, I'm not even gonna try.
Lv. 1: 4 globby things and a razor Lv. 2: A bomb-fruit, 2 globby things, a cherry, a banana, and a lemon Lv. 3: 3 lychees (the double-hit ones) and a lemon Lv. 4: Your prize, guarded by 4 razors Lv. 5: The exit, guarded by 3 razors
but waiting is so boring... besides, i think i read somewhere that using the ninjutsu mode can give high points if you're careful... besides which, it gives great practice in jumping all over the place
If you want to - no one will hinder you from going into the Dojo But it will be frustrating because it needs some time to be able to reach its end. And trying to beat the game is not really "waiting", is it?
maybe so. but... i bet it'll be a month before i beat the game. i have gotten to 60 with strawberries, but no farther. and like i said, i feel like i got lots of experience jumping around and avoiding death. of course, it did take about two weeks to get to it, but now i'm going lots farther than ever. or maybe thats my imagination...
Of course you are learning. But what is the difference when you start playing Ninjutsu mode? You will still learn difficult situations, techniques and so on...
"4 globby things and a razor" doesn't do justice to the striking horror that first level of the Dojo is the first time you drop in and have no idea where to go as everything slowly creeps its way up to you. NOW I can do it without dying but that first time I was completely stunned and at a loss of what the hell I should do. Which, of course, was nothing to the first time I made it to level 3 of the dojo.
Heh, the level where you can pickup the just fooled me in Mirror Mode. I approached it from the left side as usual, but I was already in the part with the razors before I noticed that you can only get on one side into the part with the star, and that side is not the side where I'm in since it's Mirror Mode
