I have decided to give a clue for #5: Notice earlier I pointed out that all of the items were in quests. That is important. Anything special about those quests? Reminder: I have already said it isn't to do with the amount of items required for the quest.

Well... I think it is because the other items' quests all have a "usable" effect while the Sorbex Exterminator quest does not give you anything

I have already said that isn't it though, because 'effects' is very vague. It's hard to think of any other clue I could give that doesn't instantly give it away.

#5 is because the rest are the only items you have to get in a particular quest, whereas you have to get 12 different potions for that quest.

i tried to say that... only i said that it was the only one not in a 1-item family, instead of quest.

here's my theory: because you need to complete 3 quests before you can get it.
the others, you need less than that, from none to 1 or 2 for the candle.

Hmm, that's not exactly what I had in mind, but it's close enough. My reason was that all of them are in a series of quests, so the next quest in the series can only be done after the previous one, and only the previous quest in the series is required. For example, .

is the only one not in the first quest of it's series. I would have liked it to be easier to spot this, but there aren't that many series of quests, so if I did this, there weren't a lot of items to pick from.

Was this one too obscure?
