2 or 3 times. Once because of 11 in a level before :P You have to run fast and avoid cherries.

Wow....I thought 54.12.1.9G.8 was bad... and then I saw .9. I cried a little.

And I was all excited because I made it there with 4 lives too... ooooooooooog.

"You have discovered a bizarre pocket-size pyramid in Tuber's tomb."

I tried to save a shot of it too, but for some reason my print screen didn't save... I dunno... but who cares! Victory #1! only 2 left...

After a short break of letting the adrenaline ease out (perhaps with the assistance of a nice, cold 1211 ) I thought I'd let you have a fun piece of information about my last run. Believe at your own risk (because I certainly did it at MY risk).

On the level right before the pass, I somehow managed to kill all the blobs before killing the pear. I lost two lives to it, and finally managed to down it with no lives left. That was a ridiculous feat... I'm not even quite sure how I managed it, but no matter, it worked.

Also I was quite surprised, since I don't look at Cadomax I had no idea that was the last level before the pass... I kinda expected the levels to extend to infinity until I was out of lives.

Last thing I'm curious about... on the Tomb level with the red gem, does it randomly pick whether that wall appears, or was I too quick for it and got past before it could show up once?

Woohoo, ColdFrog! That was fast, especially considering that you didn't look up any of the levels beforehand. :youpi:

Planning to take a peek into the Raspberry Crypt, or will you wait until you've unblocked the 1238 first? :keepcool:

I had a fun Hell run on .es today. I got life-saving items on each of the three "Igor must die" levels of the first segment:
28 on 54.5
0 on 54.6
81 on 54.8

I didn't lose a single life until MH.3. :D

Come to think of it, I don't know why I didn't take all those hats into the RC for practice -- but for some reason I wanted to try that weird detour in TT. I only got this far, but it was a lot of fun.

Definitely going to unlock the pass first... I'm not ready for "the other side". In fact, I need a lot of practice with the first few hell levels, because I have a feeling I'm going to need lots of lives. Honestly, the Tomb levels are pretty easy compared to original hell and... well, two of the Howling Metal levels. I find the challenge being to come through with enough lives that if a couple get picked off you still feel safe.

Also, I think I know what detour you're talking about in the tomb (that spiraly level, right) because the first thing I did when I saw there weren't any enemies was to drop bombs pretty much everywhere :P I saw a portal show up, but I was too much of a wuss to go in. Which was probably for the best, considering I made it to the end!
