Well, since gmnemo is thread's author, he could edit his first post, and allways edit link for file (if the link is changable, like rapidshare's).

@unix: Brilliant idea. I, too, was thinking we should get something like that going. If you know a good place to post it, I'll send you the latest version and have you set it up.

Also, I'd love to edit my post, but I don't see any way I can do so. I always just assumed you had to be a moderator.

You can only edit the first post in a thread, and only if you wrote that post. For this thread, the URL would be:

But putting it into this thread means that the thread should be stickied.
Yet another sticky thread? I still think the FAQ thread or the Items thread would be better. Something like a sticky general helping thread.

gmnemo, you can add this link in the first thread page. The file will be there all the time. Now it is B 1.0, because I don't have your updated file. As soon as you email me, I'll put it there. Troubles, suggestions - email me.

And of course, the link may be added on sticky threads.

@30191: I agree, this certainly does not need to have its own separate thread. Of course, it would be appreciated ... but I understand if there is limited space.

Sounds like I am the one to decide about that I only told my opinion because I find the sticky part annoying when it grows too much. A few months ago, some of the threads there were deleted, and before that I could never see the non-stickies without scrolling far down; and I was not happy about that situation.

Still it is never a mistake to put files like this one in several places So I'll add it to the Items, Quests and Families thread.
