I made a discovery about fading-out times for items. Not only do items fade out more quickly if you take longer (on a per-level basis), but different items have different fade times. For instance, the items spawned by and fade more quickly than they do normally. Also, it appears that worth less fade more quickly than those worth more. Finally, it appears that never fade at all. Not a very important find, but it may be helpful when calculating which item to get first, as Hammerfest players so often do.

About I think you are right; but the smaller crystals fade earlier only because they tend to appear earlier than the bigger ones. And (and friends) are kind of "bonus items", like also are on many levels. And items like these fade only in rare cases (for example )

Actually starts to fade very quickly if you don't get it in time. So do game controllers.

And - "if you want to beat Tuber, you won't"? What does that mean?

Maybe that's for me only. And maybe that's because I haven't played n-mode too much to be so experienced. But when I try to play so to reach Tuber, I usually get to 90-95. And when I played normal mode + some gamepads from 64 and 77, I accidentally beat Tuber. I just can't finish the game when I really want, but when I play "to unblock this or that" I always have a great game.

And today, I got only to 91, missed 9th key and got green pearl on wrong level. Just been unlucky.

And I think beating Tuber in NM mode is really hard. I am currently close to trying on french server (I need to beat him only two more times in normal mode, and I want to do these two ways before I start NM), but I tried it once and totally failed though I have already done this 10 times on this server.
