I'm not sure if this is old news or not, but I recently found a portal on level 12 or 13. If you go down the right side onto the platform underneath the other two, it opens the portal to an "undefined" place.

That is very old news, in fact. What you found is one of several Parallel Dimensions (PD's). Some are accessible by doors, some by hidden Vortexes. Since your level high is 23, you can access the following PD's:
3) The Carrotian Council (easy)
6) Small Bonus (easy)
11) Mechayame (hard)
13) Irish Coffee (hard)
16) Plumbers Hideout (easy)
23) The Dojo (very hard)

Irish coffee, hard? o_o medium at most imo.

From a beginner's perspective, it is pretty hard. I certainly considered changing Mech and IC to medium, but it wouldn't make a difference in this small list.

Oops, I forgot to mention that since this forum doesn't support spoilers, I'd leave out the number of enemies.

Let's just say that PD 6 and PD 16 have the same number of enemies.

Well, it depends on your definition of "enemy." 16 has a bit of added difficulty, as does 6 if you happen to be messing around with UE ...

An item that kills an enemy and gives you a will give you a if the enemy was frozen. On the other hand, an item that transforms an enemy and gives you a will always give you a . Case in point: .

Also, 53 is the very best level to get Pocket-Guu on. You're always protected by a roof over your head.

Even with the spikes gone, it may not be a good idea to jump into the pit at 72.4 (to the right of Igor). I resisted the temptation to actually do it.

As you can see, fireball may actually be useful! Are there other places like that?
