Yeah, you get when you kill in order and skull-ied fruit you can even get when there still are enemies it happened to me several times in PD15 on a level with 3 apricots

I think you guys already know this,
but when you get all the alphabets for CRISTAL when the fireball (Plumber) is on the screen, the fireball spawns immediately again from the bottom and it can kill you straight away (it's not blinking).

I have a theory about coefficient 5 items. When I started scoring over 1.1 million, 4 appeared in one week. Previously, they hadn't appeared at all, except for once slightly before that. Is it true that they are awarded based on scores?

no, its just pure luck, although if you do more levels and collect more items you have a higher chance of getting one.

A discovery: If you have Antok Ring at the start of a level, you will get two point items on that level, even if you die before they appear.

@Cakeful: Thank you, I did not know that. And I hadn't ever experienced it ... before today. I got CRISTAL on level 35 after the fireball appeared and voila, I died. I had totally forgotten you said this.
