And I hadn't even mentioned my Gregorian obsession yet!

But yeah, "conglomeration" is pretty accurate. Classic rock, '80s dance music, an alarming number of OC ReMixes, some .hack//SIGN OST, whatever genres you'd call Gregorian and E Nomine, and a general assortment of chill/electronica. I have better organized playlists, but this one is 12 hours long so I don't need to reset it much.

It would be interesting to know what everyone's Hammerfest soundtrack is. I bet game music/remixes would feature in a lot of them.

In other news, I am totally adding E.S. Posthumus to my album wishlist.

I usually just play with the in-game music (and no sound effects). Ideally, I'd have a playlist of retro themes (for which ANS' video guide has been a great help), but any playlist on the computer (especially in-browser) makes the game lag, and I haven't transferred any of the songs onto my phone/mp3-player yet. Right now, all the songs on my phone have lyrics, which imo distract from gameplay because I always want to sing along. But once I take the time to give my SD card a refill, I'll be using it for the aforementioned, wordless themes.
