Hi there you keen Hammerfest players!

Under this topic you shall discuss about the hardest levels in this game and tactics to beat 'em.

What is the reason why some particular levels are hard for you and is there anything that could be done to prevent straight 10 lives lost?

IMHO the hardest, so to say "basic", levels are 92 and 95.

92 because of the stomping pineapple and that I need to get to the lychee and then return to get a black bomb and so on. Usually I die at least one time because of the fireball.

95 because for me it's far too complex to try some single tactic. It's no use to stand in the upper part of the level and wait for bombinos, because time easily runs out. Otherwise bombinos stuck the way up and kill me on my way to the lemons, because those little blocks inside the level are quite small.

Any suggestions?

The pineapple in 92 is not really so bad. You can get to it and kill it relatively fast and safely, with the apple as the only obstacle on the way.

92 is not too hard, because all the fruits are separated in boxes. You don't have 20 of them running around and chasing + shooting at you all the time. The thing is to know how to beat the level. Here, take a look at how to beat it easily.

Awraeed! Thanks Zax! I had done it hard way before.

I had done it kind of backwards -> pear bomb, dropped down to tomato, jumped up twice to get to the pineapple and so on... That's why I had to return always back.

I've watched your videos zax and liked the clear commentary.

I would have to add level 90 to the list. It seems to be strongly dependent on luck; as long as the pineapples keep stomping, you will keep dying. Especially cheap is when pineapple #1 stomps after you've jumped into the left chute, knocking you directly into the spikes.

Oh, the box is easy. The three idiots at the bottom (the 4th one goes up) are what makes it hard.

Zax ... not sure why I hadn't watched this video of yours before, but I must say your technique is absolutely spectacular. I think, with this help, it may be enough to save those few extra lives to get me past NT. I do have a few questions:

On 95 in NM mode, do you recommend waiting for the Bombinos to come up to the top from the start ? I see why you wouldn't do it normally, but in NM they come up much more quickly, so it seems it'd be easier to kill them that way.
Also on 95, why didn't you use the teleporter-switcheroo move ? (Not sure what to call it, hopefully you know what I'm referring to. )
I really wish you'd included level 98. That seems to be a tricky one as well ... Any tips on getting through it ?
