@bully: Hard to explain what I think and what I think electriczax thinks (sorry, I had to write that - just for the beautiful sentence construction). There are different forms of love - Eros, Philia and Agape (and I just read of Stoika, which seems to refer only to actions, such like a hobby). Eros and Philia are forms of love you give only to a special group of persons (if you want to know more, look it up yourself - I don't want to say something wrong). But Agape is - as far as I understand it - something like general respect. In the Bible it is the love God gives to all humans and that we should spread out, so we all should respect each other as human beings, which is also true without any religious background (see zax's post!). You won't see that guy who jumps on chicken as your friend (I wouldn't either), but you can respect him as a human and thus help him when he has problems. I think this is a very hard goal to reach; I am trying, but I am certainly not faultless. But if everyone would try to spread this kind of love, there would be no one jumping on chicken
