HOW DID I LOSE TWO LIVES IF NOBODY KILLED ME!?

It was really odd... On one level I had three lives. When I dropped down, I had three lives. When I appeared in the next level, I ONLY HAD ONE LIFE!

Wow. That's weird. Even though it may be a bug of some sort, I still don't believe it has happened.

So, I'm starting to lose steam. Unblocked a lot of items in a short time, but given that I haven't found any evil liquors in a loooooong time (since I started playing) I'm starting to feel rather "meh" about the whole thing.

I mean, the game is great, don't get me wrong; it's just that as it stands, the ONLY reason I play a game these days is to get either an evil liquor (to aid in finishing 3 of my 4 last quests) or another to finish off the fourth.

And besides, after that, what is there to do except "try" to unblock the coeff 5 and 6 items (try is used loosely, as it depends on the luck of the draw what items show up in game)

So with that said, is there any advice/encouragement from people who've played this longer than I have? What keeps you going?

Maybe you could try coming up with your own challenges? For example, you could try getting the big crystal on some very difficult levels. It wouldn't be as visible to everyone else when you succeeded with them, but it might help. Of course, you can always try scoring as high as you possibly can - I know that with enough practice, it is possible to get 9-10 million points by mostly skill. This would probably increase your chance of getting a coef 5 item as well simply because you would be going through a a lot of parallel dimenions

That's a good idea. Like getting a big crystal in some of the parallel 2 levels . That's hard

Aggh! two silly things: I was trying to make a video of the Dojo in a non-BoS environment. Made it through perfect, didn't even die once on the stupid red spring bomb level, got to the end - Video recording was still paused. AGHGHG!

Second thing which wasn't really my fault, I was on level 89 not getting any openings when suddenly I see an orange gem, so I'm like, OK, I'll get that. I jump out on it, and in the instant before I grab it, the points item appears. What was it? Candy cane. As I have yet to unlock it, I was pretty ticked, ESPECIALLY since the orange gem IS unlocked.

Anyway, two more completed games for Tuber's unlocked items!

Oh yeah, I also learned - nothing special for beating the game on mirror mode. Darn.

There's also nothing special gained from beating it on ninja mode, or on unstable explosives mode. I can't tell about about "Tornade" mode, but electriczax might be able to see.

That's why I'm hoping to get some evil liquors soon...so I can finally get the last controller to unblock tornade mode, and then work my tail off to try and beat the game with all five modes on. Maybe you get something for that?
