On the whole I'm happy, Got to level 98 for the 2nd time thanks to a lucky blue umbrella, or maybe not so lucky since I didn't get a chance at pd97.

OMG. I always thought that killing the lychee on 92 was next to impossible without dying! but lo and behold, I finally discovered the portal that lets you insert a bomb easily and efficiently. But not until I had already lost two or three of my lives. Meh.

I had twelve lives again somewhere in the 50s I think, And this time I did it without the help of a golden Igor. And no Tuber life either! Ha!

I only just now realized that 94 looks exactly like level 6.

62 and 96. PEACHES. HOW DO I DEAL WITH THESE THINGS WITHOUT DYING?

Maybe I should just use them to practice PD0?That'll work, for sure. If it were me, they'd all be gone within a day this way.

That order is very peculiar indeed. There are three possible scenarios (based on the footage):
1) Grab , transform DA, kill UA, grab dragonfly.
2) Grab , transform UA, kill DA, grab dragonfly.
3) Kill DA, grab , transform UA, grab dragonfly.
So at least one of these allows for order. #3 makes the most sense, because you transform and capture the enemy in one go, whereas the other options separate the two actions. I wonder if it counts as "killed" when you transform it, or when you capture it. Go ahead and post in Small Discoveries just as soon as you manage to riddle something out (on any level).

But the strangest part is that I could've sworn I have gotten lucky with before, and gotten right order ... but no giant crystal fell. I even remember doing this on level 7, which only has two enemies, so there is no way I could have made a "mistake." Curiouser and curiouser ...

Great job, Neko !! Just a few more games and you will be at Tuber's doorstep. Some tips (I don't know if you were looking for help, but you're going to get it ):

62: Not much you can do here for technique ... Hope for a or level-skipping item, and just spam bombs like crazy. Some general advice for apricots is that you should stay near the bottom of the level. They will follow you wherever you go (especially when angry), and your goal is to send them through the bottom, after all. And NEVER go for the small crystals !! It isn't worth your time. Just stay as close to the bottom as possible at all times. Also, for this level in particular, I find it works best to stand in the center bottom platform, so they will come at you from both sides. Place a bomb where you are, then use a second bomb to sheep-jump over to one of the sides. If there is an apricot over there, it will probably get slammed before you touch it. Unless you're unlucky.

96: Vanilleon gave some excellent advice for this level in Small Discoveries a few days ago:
I just saw a video of someone luring all six apricots on 96 into the middle platform, killing them, then doing the same with all twelve miniatures for massive points. It looks very simple, but I never would have thought of how to do it. (Apparently you just hop down onto one of the short ledges under the top platform, and any apricots above you will drop down into the middle. Who would have guessed?)Essentially, just use those tiny ledges to your advantage. They can't touch you there, and if they are above you, they will drop down the first edge they reach (so make sure they are facing toward the center when you enter your shelter).

Game ended on 96. Advice is harder to follow that one would think.

GOOD THINGS:

250 I can pretty much get these guys every time I get there now, that's to say I'm not too unlucky and have a ton of stupid deaths early on.

on 92. I had already messed up the order, but I can confirm it kills lychees instantly and does not just stun them.

OMG I ACTUALLY MADE QUEST PROGRESS. I AM SO HAPPEH.

Got my first snail chocolate, and got my 3rd Tuber's bag on 45. Lost it on 62 But it was enough to get me past 2 million (later) for the first time in a long while. Since my aim at the moment is to just get as far as I can, I almost never get to 2 mil. Doesn't really matter to m,e but the extra life is nice.

A bit debatable whether this should go here or in the venting thread.

Got on level 2. Kept it until level 47, when I got killed by the fireball because a cherry () got stuck in the lower right corner and refused to die. Isn't that frustrating?

But I did manage to finish the hat quest, and get all the wonderful wine I need for the metallic water quest.

Does the hat quest have any use other than appearance?

Is the first item in the Divine Sweets quest (Chocolate Eclair) really THAT rare? I've nearly unblocked all the others items, and it still hasn't appeared even once.

How about the fifth item in the metallic water quest? And the doll? Octopus in Ink?

Octopus in ink is coeff 5. Until you get it, you will never see Chocolate Eclairs. The doll (Pocket Guu) is coeff 4. you will never see it until you complete the MT Diet Quest.

Oh yeah. You had other questions too, sorry. The Mad Hatter Quest yields nothing but a new appearance, and the last item in the metallic water quest is coeff 5. Poor Joe's been playing so long and he never seen one. ):
