Got second BoS and my 8th Chopper's Hat. Almost get my free hat!

Whee got my 2nd Meluzzine key and 10th ... I'm not sure whether now to do score, hell, or nightmare runs. I wish I could do them all at the same time but any one cancels out the other two... I'll just play around and see what happens.

I am so very tempted to start doing Hell runs on this server, but I'm afraid I'll miss one of my last two quest items (c5 and c6) while I'm in there. Should I just go for it anyway? It's getting kind of dull and frustrating to play through 150+ levels every day without making any quest or item progress. And I want that ...

well i'm in the same situation, need octopus in inkt for the quest and both c6 quest items and i am going through hell since there's nothing left outside to do. In most levels of hell you are able to grab the items anyway, only for a couple of levels it's nearly impossible (54.7 effect item, 54.8 point item etc.) i'd definitely go through hell, you will probably get the c5/c6 eventually anyway and hell is the only thing left where you have any influence
so my advice; go for it!!! good luck

That's a good point; aside from 54.6 and 54.8, most of the items in Hell are reachable. (Luckily, the 54.7 effect item isn't quite as impossible as it looks. If you sacrifice a life as soon as it appears, I think there's time to bomb-hop into it from the ledge under the teleporter. You just have to watch out for the top saw, since your respawn bubble will have popped by then.)

Going for Nightmare Key now

Got the PD 33 controller on the first try. Just one more controller to go. Too bad it's in a rather, ahem, difficult location.

Game was a mixture of wonderful order luck at the beginning, and atrociously bad luck on deaths at the end. Perhaps the most bizarre death happened on level 51 when Igor was falling down the left side of the screen. Tried to release a bomb to slow the fall allow him to get into the corner. Unfortunately, a pear released at the exact moment; so instead of releasing a bomb, Igor kicked the pear's bomb. Game over on the first level of PD 72 by a death that was simple and brutal: Jump from one platform, apple shoots a seed at the exact moment.

You know, on 54.8, if you've killed all the left-side enemies, as long as the saw is near the remaining and the bananas aren't in your way, you can get the point item

hmm i think you're right about 54.7, didn't think about that 54.6 is indeed hard to get, i have to admit i fail to get them quite often, but again by sacrificing a life (if necessary) you'll probably be able to get the point item relatively easy (usually i just don't try because it isn't worth it) 54.8 i didn't even try, even though i think it isn't as hard as it appears to be after all (if you don't have too bad luck with razorblade/pineapple) Thanks for advice/good luck
