Shortcuts: No. The parallel dimensions are usually longer than the direct way (or at least not shorter), there is only the great secret after level 6.1 which no one but JoeKickass knows more about

Games: Sorry, I don't know. I do still get those games, but I had bought a few before the Great Update. I think you still get the games... Would be crap if you didn't.
Just read carefully what the buying information tells you...

The most (only) useful "secret levels" (parallel dimensions) in the earlier games are the door at level 3 and the vortex at level 46: Level 3 is not too difficult and gives you a few more points; level 46 is harder, but the key at its end is extremely useful because it unlocks many other item families. (Okay, you haven't reached level 46 yet; but when you constantly get there, you could give it a try... But it is not very easy!)
The other ones don't bring you anything helpful at the beginning - it is better to concentrate on reaching and beating Tuber first or at least getting to leveld ~70-80 before really going into parallel dimensions...

The only "secret" levels that usually aren't asked about or spoiled are levels 100-103. The others are known.

The lack of info on the levels before the snow bomb is more to do with not many people seeing them/cadomax not being updated anymore. There are videos and screenshots of those levels out there. Want me to post what I have seen of those levels?
