I also have a question. Ans, wouldn't it be easier for you to first get the n64 pad, and then try to reach the red bomb in tornado and nightmare mode at the same time? i had the feeling that NM doesn't give you the full

boost and tornado mode probably does.. would only mean a small speed improvement, but i think every littlebit might help.. (especially when avoiding the fireball) I don't know if it's possible to reach the red bomb in NM and tornado mode though.. Good luck anyway!!

true, but i guess you want to unblock them anyway? in that case you have to go get the n64 pad only one time in normal mode, so you can select tornado mode as well as NM the next time, and in that way you have an adventage the 10 times after that

I'm not even able to make that choice yet

(even though i have the feeling that if i can skip MH.8 with some kind of item or last letter i might be able to get a lot closer to the PP (but that's probably to optimistic..)
