The apples on 28 have suicided before, there is some physical anomaly in the diagonal platforms and the fact that it is really just a series of one-block-wide platforms. The fruits don't like those. Can't quite explain it though.

30191 is correct, and Mario Mode all take away the x2 sign but not the effect. (This is a presumption based on examples, I haven't seen instances of each.) Not sure about . Though it doesn't put a sign above your head, it does change Igor's appearance.

You can kick kiwi slices diagonally. (I discovered this when I tried to place and up-kick a bomb, but really kicked and up-kicked a kiwi slice. )

Did anyone ever figure out what the deal is with the point item in PD25 ? I got one the other day, so I can now affirm that it is not just a myth ... but I've yet to figure out what causes it.

fps maybe? Did you lag at all? was the lag worse or not as bad as usually? Hmm...

The PD25 point item always appears for me, and my FPS is always 40+

1. space down up down
in quick sucession
makes you kick a bomb up 2 platforms without a middle one

2. if you pass through a bomb changer whilst falling and kicking a bomb,
you get a glitch where you constantly are kicking a bomb but nothing is appearing so long as you stay in the bomb-changer (15.9 is good example)

3. stay in a level until you get all 3 items as I once got candy cane on level 2

I got a and it shot everything ok

but when the ice orbs went through the fruits
nothing happened...

anyone know why?

Bad luck. Has happened to me several times in level 2 (nearly everytime I got it there). I think there is little you can do about it - just be careful (I was not -.- )

It's not lag; I had 40+ FPS when I saw an item there. Another time, I killed my CPU down to 25 FPS as an experiment, but I died too quickly, so I can't say what it would've done.

It could be triggered by a high FPS, perhaps ?

No, i always have 40fps, don't even know how i'd be able to get it higher but the point item does appear..

or you'd have to call 40fps high?

I call 40 high. The highest possible the game will show is 41 ... anything more and it'll just continue to show 40/41.
