Aw dang... :P

If ZUN (the creator) knows about it and does completely nothing about it, I thought he would be OK with it. :innocent: It's not like it's possible for us to get it in America, UK, ect. in any other way...

Your call though.

Oh yeah, and for anyone who still has the Touhou game, the Stage 2 Mini-Boss is called Daiyousei if anyone is just curious.

Regarding that vizzed site, the currency runs on posting in the forums. IF you check the forums once per day, you get a certain amount of credits. If you create a thread, you get a certain amount of credits per reply. That sort of thing.

Each game costs 10 credits to unlock, but once you've finished it, you can "sell" it for 7 credits back, so technically they each only cost 3 credits. However, if you sell a game, you have to buy it back for the full 10 credits to play it again.

All in all, credits really aren't all that hard to come by. If you check the forums once a day, you should have more than enough to play whatever you want.

Also, when you unlock a game, you have the choice to run it in the vizzed board emulator or the NEScafe emulator...I would recommend the NEScafe one as being more versatile. It has everything the vizzed emulator has, but it also has game genie compatibility.

SPOILER WARNING!

If you have the crouching ability and have gotten as far as you can go as you can find, don't bother with the yellow energy. Go back to the beginning area and bow in front of the Penguin Statue. Remember that room in the beginning cave? The one with the picture of people bowing in front of a penguin and an angel appearing?

ANOTHER SPOILER

While you are at the statue of the penguin, shoot at the torches or dive bomb them to light them up for a health bonus!

Also, the Touhou fans are busy fighting over if it's pirating or not to just download Touhou. :innocent: Such a confusing fight, I wish I could just talk to ZUN and ask if it is pirating or not!

Obviously, if you don't extract the files, they won't work properly. You have to always remember to extract the files before you open anything ! :charte:

@Zax, I wasn't aware that Touhou might be pirated; I had assumed it was free/shareware. I can confirm that all the games I have on the list now can be played legally on your machine, so there's nothing to worry about. (Not sure how legal Vizzed is ...) And hopefully they'll get the Touhou issue sorted out. :)

All we know is that...

1: ZUN (the creator) sells a few copies of his game at Comikets when they come out, but not nearly enough for all the people who play
2: Making Touhou games is his hobby... Not his real job.
3: He has it licensed in Japan.
4: He knows we are downloading it for free, yet does nothing about it and doesn't seem to want to do anything about it.

We can't decide if we're allowed to download it or not... All we know is that we're safe either way, rofl.

Vizzed is legit because they own physical copies of any games that they're putting up on their own website.
