It's a thing of timing. You kick the bomb away and shortly thereafter upwards. It won't work if you are too slow, and it won't work if you are too hasty. Just try it out.

at The Carrotian Council (PD 3.0), there are several other characters named after real Hammerfest players (such as Goronhead, Joekickass, Lucied, etc). Why were they paid homage? Because they were the first players to beat Tuber, or because they had the highest scores then? What are the names of these characters on the French and Spanish servers?

If I remember correctly, I got included not because I had beaten Tuber, but because I had translated that entire council's conversation from French over to English when they first added Parallel Dimensions.
