Is pungent key PD hard? Should I go there?

If I go to PD 97, will there be glasses again? Is it possible to not take them?

And, do I have to worry about time in level 100?

It's pretty hard, but... no too much for someone who completed the game...
The glasses will be there always, but YOU CAN AVOID THEM!!! Good news, huh?
Just jump over them - jump, and when u start falling bomb-jump forward over them...
It's not too difficult, but a little tricky...

Strange, why does it on the top of page sometimes says my ranking is 0 and sometimes 1?

Because you don't have a rank. You are in HoF after all.

If you get eight lives, then get one more and have the little + sign, what happens then if you lose a life?

You loose the + sign... If you have more than 9... Nothing.

The game counts how many lives you have (would be a bad game if it didn't ), but does not show the exact number if you have more than eight lives.

How could I ask a question about level 101 and above?

You can ask any question you want, but you won't get answers in the forum (at least not without the answerer being tortured and put into jail forever) Oh - rhetorical questions count as answers, of course

Well... level 101 is the last level, where you fight Tuber. I don't think there's more to be discussed, but if you think there is something - ask for it.
