Pyramid level: 1 133

Can I have a diffrent sort of question?
If so, then: What is the ratio per level of getting a coeff.6 item (as if, approximately how often do you get a coeff. 6 item, for example, a coeff. 2 item appears approximately once every 3 levels.)

Interesting question... I am still working on an answer (started about 2 months ago)... I don't know if there is one in the internet.

So, 30191, what are the results for now? :D
(At least the coeff. 1-4... :idee: )
But if you ask me, I think there should be many (good) players doing it together, and the result be based on the avverage... (coz 1,2,3 players may be just lucky/unlucky, but when there are many guyz doing it all together - it's MUCH more reliable and true... (That's the way to test luck-based stuff... ;) )

So think about it! :charte:
And I'm waiting for the results for now (which aren't perfect, but may be still something... )

Good luck!!! 8)

Ummm...
avverage
is actually average... :timide:
Any MOD, please fix it, and delete this post, OK? Thanks a lot! :D

I am working on it at the moment... It is difficult; but the results for coeffs 1-4 seem to be quite clear; and I expect to find a kind of rule with which I can also calculate the values for coeffs 5 and 6...

And what about my idea of team work???
Don't you think it will be MUCH better to calculate the results by an average of MANY players??? :o
That's what people do when they wanna investigate something - they take a big group of (different...) people, and calculate the result by the average! :youpi:
So I'm pretty sure you have to it here, too, coz that way, as I said in the previous post, it'll be much more reliable, true, correct, right... :P

So after finishing this "run", start a new one with StockBreak, ElectricZax, dawjbns, DigDog, ColdFrog, billybob1211, havefun2000, JoeKickass, and other good players, and you can compare between the resuls: yours (by yourself, alone; and the average of all of you, the good players! 8) )

Thank you, but please go easy on the CAPS and smileys. ;)
Yeah, we could do that.

But I only dream of being able to play Hammerfest co-op online... ;)

I could do it, of course. But 1) at the moment I don't even think it will be necessary, and 2) I don't need "good" players, but "advanced" players. billybob could not be "used" before he has completed the Mushrooms Hunter quest because this quest unlocks a new item (114 ); but on the other side there are lots of other not-so-good players who could be useful for such a project.

I have some numbers for the effect items, but not yet for the points items...
I counted the items I got, calculated an average number of them and then added the items I didn't count. The result is that I got (in 2 months):
coeff. 1: 2256 items / average 161
coeff. 2: 2042 / 81
coeff. 3: 542 / 24.6
coeff. 4: 51 / 8.5
5 and 6 are not exact enough - I got about 6 coeff. 5 effect items during those two months (counted 4, but I remember at least 2 green mushrooms)

In percents this means:
1: 46% / 58.5%%
2: 41.6% / 29.5%
3: 11% / 8.9%
4: 1% / 3%
So if you play 100 levels, the chances of getting a specific coeff. 1 item are about 60%. Coeff. 2 is almost exactly 1/2 of this; but then I don't see the next step. coeff. 3 could be 1/3 of coeff. 2, then coeff. 4 again 1/3 of coeff. 3 - or maybe 1/4? Would be a quite simple system...

Well; this is what I got for now. More tomorrow.

Quite recently I happened to find that the french have actually done this already, and discovered the following results, which are of course approximations:

Coef.1: 52.323% = 1 chance in 2
Coef.2: 34.085% = 1 chance in 3
Coef.3: 11.999% = 1 chance in 10
Coef.4: 01.542% = 3 chances in 200
Coef.5: 00.140% = 3 chances in 2000
Coef.6: 0.00450912% = 1 chance in 20,000
