Items, Quests, Enemies, ...

Le Panthéon ! 1
Tuesday 24 Feb 2009 18:16
This thread was created a long time ago (around 2009, I guess) to answer questions about items, quests, families and enemies.
Questions like:
1228 What is the effect of [item]?
1228 What family does [item] belong to?
1228 How can I complete [quest]?
1228 What quest unlocks [family]?
1228 What does [enemy] do?
1228 How do I get the big crystal at level ##?

I am not as active anymore as I was back then, but luckily for those who are interested, I do still exist.
This is the current link to my overview sheets. I created the link on 2014-06-17 and it should never expire, as it leads to my personal Dropbox.
If the link does not work, feel free to contact me using my Hammerfest or Twinoid accounts (my Twinoid name is Allineas).

This is the ancient description of the files:
1047 Quests.gif - a graphic overview over the quests and families showing which quest unlocks which family and which families are needed to complete the quests. It was a translation of a french original, but the original link has died.
1047 Hammerfest Items.pdf - a list of all 353 items (okay, 352... but the unknown item is mentioned :) ) sorted by families. The list shows each item's picture, name, effect/points, family, rarity, the last quest to unlock the family and its quest relevance.
1047 Hammerfest Quests.pdf - a list of the 76 quests, the items needed for them and their "real" effects. It does not contain the effect description given in the game.
1047 Hammerfest Enemies.pdf - a list of the enemies, their movement and abilities. Not really necessary, but why should I not include it? :)

dor1997 created a similar set of files, but it seems to be gone. If anyone has a copy, I would like you to send it to me, so I can include it in my link.

gmnemo made a file showing the big crystal orders. As with dor1997's work, I don't have a copy, but if you do, please contact me.
For more detailed information see the original thread

Apart from possibly unknown errors, I still miss three things:
--> The correct name of the Tasteless Truffle
--> The correct name of the Daruma Watermelon (I got four of them, but always failed to remember the name...)
--> A description of the "Eco-Terrorist Pony" disguise. Is it an allusion to something special?

Thanks to everybody who has helped completing and posting all this! You helped not only us three, but all of the big crowd out there!

Now you can download Hammerfest Items.rar from rapidshare. To read it, you need a program which can open .rar files and one which can read .pdf files... Should both be on your computer ;) If not, they are easily downloadable somewhere.

Informations to find in this document:
Items, their rarity, points/effect, picture, quest relevance. They are sorted by their families. Under the families' names I have added the quest needed tu unlock the family.

Just a couple of points :)

The 64 doesn't always give 6 letter. I'm not sure if its random or not but I know I've only had 4 or 5 out of it sometimes.
To clarify the ?, 67 does indeed wear off before the end of the level.
The lamps 4 5 could be worded a little better? I don't know. 'One additional bomb' could be read to mean that if you pick two up you can lay two more bombs, which obviously isn't right. Not sure how it would be worded though.
Also, black 1000 can be worth more than 24k. If there are a load of enemies killed at once or with 72 , any 1000 s given after the black one is also black, but worth more. Can't remember how much it increases each time though.

And the 1205 is a 'SNES Controller' ;)

This site will tell you what family every item is in, according to that site, the butter egg and tasteless truffle are the wrong way around, but everything else is in the correct position.

I can also say a couple of names of items which I think are correct:
Green Pearl = Moss Pearl (not sure about this)
Meluzine = Meluzin (from the quest name and item)
1196 = Authorization of Bois-Joli (It calls it what you have in the quest descriptions, but that is the name of the item) and The family it is in is called paperwork

zoyyy: Sometimes 64 makes two letters appear right at the same place. More then once I picked up a useless letter and didn't see that there was the 7th one I needed under it ;)

I thought I could let out the part about black 1000 ... But okay, I'll try to explain it^^

About 67 and 4 5 : I'll fix that... Somehow^^

And thanks for the SNES Controller^^

pigletto: I'll add the Moss Pearl, thank you. Same with the families^^ I just guessed that the egg could be quite exotic...
The Authorizazion: Are you sure? I think zoyyy told me a different name... So - one of you (you or zoyyy) should look up the exact item, quest and family names so I can be sure^^

And about the Meluzin... I guess you are right^^ The quest name is certain, but I didn't know how the key is called.

Thank you (both of you) :) I'll post a fixed version soon 1061

Oh, and you didn't mention the part about the 150k bonus when you collect the 0 letters in order. ;)

Pigletto is right about the 1196 . I copied the name from the quest info, didn't realise it gave a different name in the fridge :innocent:

Okay, thanks pigletto and zoyyy ;)

I left out the part about the 150k points... There is more to say about the letters; I didn't want to post it all in the table... Lucied will do it ;)
