If it wouldn't be for 30191 I would have said being in Germany prevents you from getting the book of stars ;)

The german books concentrate on one person... Guess who ;)

I know I tend to get rarer items on certain levels...the best instance of it I can think of was getting two books of stars on the same level (37), although those two games were started at the same time, which gives a little credit to the time of day theory...

Well, on another site I play on, (itsyourturn.com) it determines your dice rolls by counting milliseconds of the hour, or something like that. The whole coeff thing could just be one huge clock, with the rarer items having less.

I don't think I have gotten any really rare items (I might have but not known that they were rare), but a lot of the time I get the same item on the same level. It's just ordinary stuff... like 8 or 81, but this happens to me a lot. Hope that helps.

It might also have something to do with your last game.

As a programmer myself, i can tell you that every random number is generated through a method that uses the time of the system...
So if you start several games at the same time (i figure that the item's that'll drop are calculated at the start of the game) you'll get the same items in those games that you started...

I hope that helps a bit:)

Well I'm a programmer too and I would like to add that it makes a huge difference what part of the time you take for the generator. If you only take the minutes or seconds there is a chance that you will have two identical games when you start them at the same time. But if you also take the milliseconds, it's barely impossible to get two identic games.

I'm not a programmer ;) But the stuff of getting an item twice on the same level is nothing new. Finding in item increases the chances of getting it again in that game, again at that level in later games and as far as I know also again in any level of the next games. In most cases this effect applies to coeff. 1 or 2 items, but if you are lucky, you can also find coeff.5s more often...

And no matter what part of the clock your random generator uses - you can't control anything using this effect because you don't know how this time is used exactly.

Well, if that's true, then can anyone tell me a way to increase my chances to get 1045 because I still need 13 more of them (And 3 sparkling sodas)
