Yeah, no doubt your right, just some times those coincidences seem mighty close... but hey, who knows eh?

By the way, if they are programmers of any worth their random seed will be based on the milliseconds of the clock. That's something I learned early on about random numbers, the only way to get a random number is to enter a random number, and nothing is more random than a millisecond.

The problem with using pi is that pi is always the same, but if you randomly grab the milliseconds of time it is almost always going to be different. Plus, how many digits of pi are you willing to store somewhere? Milliseconds are easily obtainable and always changing.

Okay, but in how many levels? With all the PDs I usually play over 100 levels and I always get a coef. 4 item. Actually I get like 3-6 coef. 4 items per game. Coef. 5 are what I'm interested in :). I usually get one per 3 games and once I got 3 in one game! Many of them in Hell, though.

I seem to notice that too - the chances of getting a rarer item seem to increase for me if I'm in the Hell levels.
