Translation Errors

Le Panthéon ! 1
Thursday 07 May 2009 11:25
Thinking about it, I think that the Méluzzine Key hasn't been translated, because the name of the key is Meluzin in the quest name and the quest text, making me think that the name of the item itself was forgotten. For a similar reason, I think 1196 was also forgotten - it is referred to as LovelyWood BJ22a Authorization Form in the quest.

There are also a few other ones which confuse me. They are common enough that I would have thought they would have been noticed by now though, so if there is something I'm missing about these, tell me. They all contain words that don't seem English to me. I checked with Google too.
1046 Gump?
1064 Car-En-Sac?
1065 Dragibus?
Half cocobats?
1090 Cerisot marinated in beer. Cerisot?

Sorry for double posting, but I missed one from that list.
1224 Winkel O'Riely. Seems to me that should be Winkle O'Reilly. I assume there is some kind of reference I don't get? (Google gave me the correct spelling).

I think 1196 is translated correctly. The french server uses different names for the item and in the paperwork quest too.

Nah, the French server spelt it wrong. I checked, Hare Nochi Guu Episode 9, Winkel O'Riely is in it. He laughs like an idiot. :D

1196 : Okay, but Bois-Joli looks like french to me.
1224: So it is some reference I don't get. I know nothing about Hare Nochi Guu.

I also missed one other: I believe Golded mushroom should be Golden mushroom

Car-en-sac, dragibus & others are french candies.

Bois-joli translation is Lovely-Wood :)

Golded mushroom should be Golden mushroom
--> or Gilded mushroom; but to me, golden mushroom sounds better.

I don't know how it is translated - but the coeff. 6 from the MT Delights family is called "Brioche dorée" - gilded Brioche in English... That's why I think the mushroom could be named similarly

When I play Ninjutsu mode, and after finishing the level the message appears in French. I want English! :)

And the whole "the game couldn't save so you need to log out and log in again to clear your cache and save you game" screen is all in French. That's not exactly what it says, but you get my drift.
