In that case, a couple minor notes from Ye Olde Usefulle Observations:

Level 87: Even though it requires a quick backtrack, it's better to kill the ninja strawberry as soon as it appears. You can ambush the others very easily with the teleporters, but that one is a pain to hunt down when it's alone.

Level 15.13: Picking up , , or (especially) may be a bad idea in the long run. XD

Are you sure you drop into the unescapable spike pit? As far as I know you appear on the spot you resurect if you die. Imagine if you die on that level how you lose all your lives because you drop there...

Sure indeed. Maybe if I had been prepared, and done a bomb-jump right away, I could have escaped off to the side quickly enough... but alas.

Anyway, Igor respawned elsewhere and I finished the level with no problems, so at least it didn't turn into an infinite loop of spiky doom. Doesn't every level have a set respawn point in a (relatively) safe place? That was always my impression.

Another small discovery: You can still sort of "fly" without if you have and . Just jump and hold left until Igor reaches the left side of the screen, then hold right until he gets to the right, and so on. He'll slowly zig-zag his way up to the top, and stay there as long as you continue (more or less).

Also nice to note that the double bomb-jump (for getting up to high platforms) is way easier with . Not so much split-second timing *cough*skill*cough* required. I love it.

If you can place 6 bombs, you can easily fly up. If you can place 5 - very hard to fly high. Am I wrong?

Without , even? I always thought that was too hard, even with 6 bombs. Maybe I was doing it wrong.

You just rapidly, but rhytmically press left-right. In that way, if I have , I get 2 big crystals on pd 72, o a level with secret banana

By the way - Is getting both big crystals there without impossible? I can't figure out how to do that...

I was under the impression that Igor has one designated spawn-point for each level, regardless of whether he gets there by or by death. Perhaps certain levels have two (one for , one for death), just like how many levels have multiple spawn-points for the items.

@72.3: I presume, in order to get both giant crystals (purple and orange ?), you have to kill all five apples in order, then make the banana appear and kill him. Correct me if I am wrong.

From this, it follows that it is impossible to accomplish without flying. The banana appears when you grab the red bombs, and it is impossible to get up there without red bombs or flying (unless you do it from the very start).

Alternatively, if the banana actually appears when you grab the red crystal ... then perhaps you can grab the red bombs, kill the apples, and come back for the red crystal. I'm not sure, though, just theorizing ...

Last time I made the banana appear, got all the apples right until the banana and the last apple were left. Threw a red bomb at them, and unluckily it hit only the apple (on a 2 squares platform!) and the apple killed the banana -.-

There are several ways to get both crystals, in fact
1: after getting big purple;
2: Alternatively ( ), if the banana actually appears when you grab the red crystal ... then perhaps you can grab the red bombs, kill the apples, and come back for the red crystal. I'm not sure, though, just theorizing ...
Indeed, I saw Frenchie doing this;
3: Kill 4 apples in order, get yourself killed. DON'T jump down, kill the remaining apple from the top. Jump, grab the crystal, take the small one, get rid of banana.. Voila
