Nightmare + = running through 2 block gap without bomb.

+ will also work, considering makes you faster than Nightmare does. And on a few occasions, I have been able to do this with alone, although it only works sometimes, so it is probably a glitch based on fps.

And, you can go through blinking bombinos without dying.

Good to know. But I wouldn't recommend it, except in emergencies, because a blinking Bombino means there will be an exploding Bombino in very few seconds

When you get for the first time Igor will wear the disguise. But if you change disguise you wont be change back to the disguise until you star a new game play.

Someone already posted here that the blue bombs when touched by the fireball explode 2 times. Well, it happens on red bombs too

It happens with ALL bombs

On unpeeled lychees:

works normally.
unpeels AND freezes them.
stuns them instead of killing them; so you have to stun them when they are just about to walk off a platform. If you can't, you have to suicide to lose the .
... ???

Will also stun a lychee without removing its shell.

Don't forget that an item which only stuns a lychee can make it possible to get the order on a level with a lychee by making it possible to kill it with its shell still on, though it can be a bit of a pain to kill them with it sometimes.

also just stuns them. Boo.

Miscellaneous:

You can peel and kill a lychee with one bomb if you hit a second enemy at the same time. The explosion peels it, and the other enemy's careening ice cube knocks it down. Good times!

If you've just planted and detonated your maximum number of bombs on one spot, it's impossible to plant a new one for a long time (well, a few seconds) unless you move. It's most noticeable if your maximum number of bombs is one. XD Can be frustrating, and occasionally deadly. I guess the game thinks you're still too close to the bomb (which doesn't exist any more) to allow a new one?

It's best to jump to the right instead of the left on Level 54. Even if you accidentally detonate the bombino underneath you, apparently that's Bombino #1, so you can still get the order.

On 36, it's possible to knock fruit #3 (the top lemon) toward the bottom of the screen, then depose fruits #1 and #2 before it's done falling, and still get the order. Sort of pointless, but fun!


About the Interface:

If you accidentally hit Ctrl+R (refresh) instead of Ctrl+T (new tab), you'll get a warning and a chance to cancel -- at least in my browser. Phew. XD

A lot of animations continue looping while you're paused. The "new item!" bright white flash is a little disturbing when it keeps going and going...


In Nightmare Mode:

The order on 54 is suddenly far less convenient to realize.

I may be wrong, but it seems quite impossible to exit PD72 without dying. True/False?


Hammerfest-Appropriate Music:

It always amuses me when "Tempted" by Squeeze comes up on the playlist during a game. Tempted by the fruit of another, indeed.

It's even funnier when a appears right after "U Can't Touch This" starts up.

Great observations, V !! Many of these I have seen before (e.g. the lychee peel-slam and the looping animations), but never got around to mentioning them.

I've noticed this too. It is really frustrating, and for some reason particularly so with blue bombs. Far too often I find myself hitting the space bar over and over while Igor just stands there ... when there are no bombs on the screen. On a few occasions this stubbornness has nearly cost me a life.

So, a set of general rules:

What happens to a normal fruit = What happens to an unpeeled lychee:
Freeze = Peel
Instantly Kill = Stun

From what I can recall, every single effect item (and bomb, etc.) follows these two principles. This covers everything. (To clarify, the reason peels AND freezes them is that it continues across the screen, so it actually hits them twice.)

A few new discoveries:

You need a bomb-jump to clear the spikes on 72.4. I had today, so I tried a normal jump. It wasn't enough.

If you freeze the strawberry holding the ball, he will keep holding it until he unfreezes or dies. What does this mean ? As long as you keep him frozen and alive, you don't have to worry about the ball whatsoever.

Similarly, if all the strawberries are frozen except the one holding the ball, he will not throw it at all.

Be careful of when used in a level with Bombinos.

This may be a rather stupid idea... but I was thinking, what if there's some way to open the door that needs the inversion key than with an actual key? Maybe you can open it if you are wearing a certain disguise or are under the influence of a certain item?

It may have something to do with the mystery surrounding the eco terrorist pony disguise? Maybe not...

... ? Mirror mode may flip things kinda like this does, but when unlocking mirror mode you have to get . maybe you need some kind of luck somewhere and get to give you the inversion key or maybe there and the glasses are the kay and that's the only way you can get in...
