How does Mirror Mode affect the level ... ? I noticed also that Cadomax says level 72.1 is easier in Mirror Mode than in normal mode. I don't understand how; I thought it only switched left and right ... ?

perhaps you can grab the red bombs, kill the apples, and come back for the red crystal. I'm not sure, though, just theorizing

Mirror is no need there, I just put it for my pleasure. AND, when you see the mirror, you see an alternate version of you and the room (like alternate version of getting 90k, not 62,5k)

Now that's worth a try! And it looks like he is wearing the shoes; you can see his feet pedaling when he runs. XD

Also, that video is full of all kinds of awesome. (I wondered whether it was possible to fly up under those lower ledges on Level 8. Apparently so!)

Another small strategic discovery:

Level 88: Leaving the strawberries alone until after the bombinos are gone makes it sooo much easier. I find it works well to stay in the lower right, sniping the bombinos when they come down to the nearest 1x1 square. (With up-kick, you can get them with diagonal bombs, just like it shows in the Cadomax video. Otherwise, hopping over, planting a bomb, and hopping back should work too.)

After that, you can knock down the lower strawberry from the ledge on the other side of its wall, climb up the middle, freeze the last one, then chase it down and knock it off the platform before it thaws.

I ALWAYS lost 2+ lives trying to get the strawberries first, but this way has gotten me through with no deaths a few times now.

It turns out items that are not normally coefficient zero still count toward your fridge (and your quests, for that matter), even when they appear as coefficient zero ( et cetera). I have only proven it to be true for , but I am sure it extends to all of them (and is the one it matters for the most anyway, it being a higher coefficient than the rest).

When a portal is on the very top row of the screen, you cannot cross through it (case in point: 73, 74).

Sometimes, when a crystal from lands very close to a wall, it is impossible to get. Whether you approach it horizontally or vertically, it just sits there as you move right through it. This has happened to me at least twice. I have no clue what causes it, and I'm not sure where the crystal has to be for it to happen. Just an interesting glitch ...

Today, on level 55, I hit all of the fruits with one bomb, and four of them died, while one pear stayed on the platform. Crystals blue through yellow fell. Then, I grabbed while the pear was still frozen, and instead of a I got a purple crystal. I think this principle has already been mentioned, but a friendly reminder is always nice, and it was a pleasant surprise for me.

The coin on 72 never expires.

Getting two of the same item happens so often when I have an antok ring, I have a hard time believing it's totally independently random. I think there might be a factor that sometimes forces the items to be identical.

When igor dies and flies off the screen, bomb changers will still effect him.

He will not pick up items.

If you are standing in spikes when your shield runs out, you will die instantly.

I'm sure it does. It's definitely true for -- which I purposely avoided on .es for a while, but which kept incrementing in my quest log thanks to the Level 82 shortcut.

And ooh... I didn't know that you could get better than a blue crystal from a frozen-then-item-killed enemy. It makes sense, though; it would still be tagged as "the fifth fruit to be affected by a single bomb" and so would be set to give a purple crystal when it died. Nice to know!

If you reach level 75 normally, from 74, you get both items as normal. If you enter PD72, however, you do not get either item on level 75.

I am curious whether this happens with any other PD's, and whether you would get items if you arrived there with an ...

Also: and slippery floors do not go well together. 55.0 is much harder with , and 64.0 is virtually impossible.

Nightmare + = running through 2 block gap without bomb. And, you can go through blinking bombinos without dying
