Le Panthéon ! 1

@Vanilleon, you probably just pressed left without noticing and fell in.

Har. So it was just a micro-spazz attack, and not evil programming? That's a relief.

Neko, it would have been funny if the dragonfly had followed you down to the next level after that. If only it worked that way...

Recent observations:

You can get a green bomb stuck in an almost-infinite loop on Level 93 if you throw it into the left teleporter. Rather inconvenient if you can only place one bomb at a time. (Trying to catch it in mid-air is a bit tricky, and man, those things take forever to explode on their own.) XD On the other hand, suppose you could throw six bombs, and create a "wall" of green explosives to trap the leapers... Not that they're extremely difficult to hunt down on that level, but still.

The Singing Ocarina is nearly invisible in the Stairs of Morgenfell area. Had one appear on Level 41, and my first thought was, "That's odd... there was a flash, but no item? Waaait a minute...!" Chourou's Hair would probably be difficult to spot too (although at least the effect items sparkle, unlike the point items which just sit unobtrusively).

Finally, after much contemplation, I have deduced that the "ptonk!" noise Igor makes when he loses a life is the sound of a bucket being kicked. Truly this is the greatest discovery of them all. 8)

That actually just happened to me yesterday !! I forgot to mention it ... It took me a moment to figure out what the heck was going on, and then I just had to keep running away until it broke open, because I couldn't seem to kick it. (Almost missed a 7 because of it.)

Ugh, I hate that. I missed a Chocolate Mousse once on level 55, because I didn't even notice it there until it started blinking. (This isn't the same area, of course, but it does have a brown background.) Chourou's Hair is more black than brown, so I think it'd be fine. The chocolates would certainly camouflage, though.

Aww, he kicks the bucket. Jaja

I grabbed a green umbrella when I was in PD0...I was at the level with the two green bobbles and a bunch of lychees. When I grabbed it, it transported me to the last level of PD0, but instead of having to fight the enemies, there were none, the red crystals spawned automatically, and I could just collect them all and leave via the portal.

Not sure why the enemies weren't there, but hey, no matter to me; I usually lose a life on that level. Works for me. :)

Wow, that is strange. It must be because the 108 interprets the appearance of the red crystals and the vortex as the onset of a new "level," so to speak; and since there were only two levels ahead of you, that would be the third. I wonder if the same would work for any PD with bonus crystals ... :innocent: If anyone gets an opportunity, be sure to test it out. And if my theory is correct, then this must mean that any 11 grabbed on the last level will allow you to bypass the enemies and skip straight to the bonus crystals. Crazy !

Darn it! Just yesterday a green umbrella appeared on pd 3 I could have taken to find that out! Ah well.. maybe I'll get another chance someday.

With a red bomb, you can simply press up just before it goes off to jump just more of the hight, as apose to being at the pinicle of your jump when it goes off.

This makes lev. 15 in learning mode verry easy to pass unorthodoxly :innocent:

th155: No, it doesn't. Your discovery is right (and useful!), but in Learning mode there is no up-kick ;)

"Press up" (jump), not "Kick up" (by which you are not pushed higher).

Super Mario Bros: you go through many levels with secret paths and coins, and after a long journey finnally get Bowser down, and you are enabled to play harder game - with enemies running faster, brick shorter etc.
the Caverns of Hammerfest: you go through many levels with secret paths and coins, and after a long journey finally get Tuber down, and you are enabled to play harder game - with enemies running faster, less time given.

@zax: Oh... I thought of kicking it up and then jumping, which does make you jump higher; and I thought this would also work without jumping.
Does that Learning level work without th155's technique?
