Har. So it was just a micro-spazz attack, and not evil programming? That's a relief.
Neko, it would have been funny if the dragonfly had followed you down to the next level after that. If only it worked that way...
Recent observations:
You can get a green bomb stuck in an almost-infinite loop on Level 93 if you throw it into the left teleporter. Rather inconvenient if you can only place one bomb at a time. (Trying to catch it in mid-air is a bit tricky, and man, those things take forever to explode on their own.) XD On the other hand, suppose you could throw six bombs, and create a "wall" of green explosives to trap the leapers... Not that they're extremely difficult to hunt down on that level, but still.
The Singing Ocarina is nearly invisible in the Stairs of Morgenfell area. Had one appear on Level 41, and my first thought was, "That's odd... there was a flash, but no item? Waaait a minute...!" Chourou's Hair would probably be difficult to spot too (although at least the effect items sparkle, unlike the point items which just sit unobtrusively).
Finally, after much contemplation, I have deduced that the "ptonk!" noise Igor makes when he loses a life is the sound of a bucket being kicked. Truly this is the greatest discovery of them all.
because of it.)
interprets the appearance of the red crystals and the vortex as the onset of a new "level," so to speak; and since there were only two levels ahead of you, that would be the third. I wonder if the same would work for any PD with bonus crystals ...
grabbed on the last level will allow you to bypass the enemies and skip straight to the bonus crystals. Crazy !
