Le Panthéon ! 1
Friday 16 Oct 2009 05:51
A most peculiar thing happened today on level 86. As usual (for me) I waited until the point item appeared to take the black crystal. Well, it happened to be a 80, and I automatically and unthinkingly took it. I then took the crystal. The enemies moved like normal. I wasn't surprised. What surprised me was that on the quick, they all moved like they had been under the influence of 80 all along, and then started rocketing like mad with timing like they had been under the influence of it the whole time. Very peculiar...

80 fades after some time.

Well obviously 80 wears off. I was comparing it's timing for wearing off as it would in a level normally as to how it did here, as in it did wear off with the same timing it would have had it been affecting the fruits the whole time, which it was not.

And there's a bug
If you catch a 80 on a level with mini apricots they make small jumps (and slower, of course).
When the 80 wears off, if the mini apricot is angry, it continues to make small jumps, instead of the normal long jumps :P
I think it works with normal apricots, but i didn't tested it.
Oh, and it works with 69 too :D

1) A kiwi slice that explodes on the platform above you (assuming standard 3-block height between platforms) will not hurt you. At least, it didn't hurt me. I am not about to try again to make sure.

2) An umbrella took me to level 75. The items appeared as normal. The only time they don't is when you play PD72. That is so weird.

3) If a pear spits his Baddybomb into a portal from far enough away (esp. on 84), it will land directly in front of the portal and you will not be able to kick it back through to him. Be wary.

4) If your video card supports it, you can press Ctrl+Alt+Down to flip your monitor display upside-down, thus counteracting the effects of the shades in PD97. You're welcome. ;) (Unfortunately, MY video card doesn't let me do this. :( )

You can always keep a mirror next to your monitor...

Since it's flipped vertically AND horizontally, theoretically all you have to do is rotate your head 180 degrees.

Then you can play like normal! :P

If your video card can't surport it, like mine can't, you might be using a nividia card which has it's own section when you right click on the desktop. I can turn mine upside down from there.

My computer lets me do it with Ctrl+alt+down and from the desktop!

@V: You could rotate your head 180 degrees. OR you could rotate your monitor 180 degrees. The same effect (normal on both axes), without the neck pain.

And yay !! :youpi: I have an nvidia card ! Thanks, TH ... :D
